Overview
The custom plastic parts are produced by the means of injection molding which is the most common manufacturing process for making high-volume plastic parts. Ideal for producing high-volume plastic parts of the same shape, practical injection molding can be used to make plastic parts that vary widely in size, complexity, and application. Almost all plastics around you are made by injection molding.
After the plastic material is heated and plasticized in the injection barrel, the molten plastic flows through the runner and the runner system into the mold cavity and is finally formed after cooling. This manufacturing process is defined as plastic injection molding.
